Arctic fox
Vulpes lagopus
Native to the Arctic regions of the Northern Hemisphere and common throughout the Arctic tundra biome.

Why I made this image

I’m fascinated by nature’s adaptations. Her ability to provide all living creatures with the perfect attributes for their environment is testimony to her ingenuity and compassion. In the icy wilderness of Arctic Canada, an Arctic fox huddles against the extreme chill of winter, supremely┬á camouflaged from hungry predators, such as passing polar bears.
